General Assembly Republicans have offered proposals aimed at delivering short and long-term relief for Connecticut ratepayers who have been overwhelmed by surging electric bills. Democrats who control the House and Senate have so far refused to act on our proposals, and because they’ve failed to call a special session to tackle the crisis, we’ve launched a special petition process among legislators to trigger one.
